Zixi Wu

Biography

Zixi works as an independent cinematographer and director of photography based in Vancouver, BC Canada. Graduated from Vancouver Film School, Film Production program and Multimedia, Photography and Design Department at S.I.Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University, Zixi is a dedicated photographer, cinematographer and director of photography. Zixi has a strong passion in motion pictures in which he uses lights and camera work to convey feelings and emotions of his ideas and beyond. Zixi also has worked as a cinematographer for several films and commercial projects. Zixi's clients range from small startups to world's class enterprises, including Alibaba and Tencent, as well as top media companies such as BBC and SMG. 

Born and raised in China, Zixi is exploring the world as a cinematographer and director of photography. He loves to know people from different cultural backgrounds and communicate their stories through photographs and videos. He believes that visual storytelling is the best way to present and communicate information and stories with people.
